Case Management
What is Case Management?
The Case Manager works with the Counseling, Health, and Disability services team to provide problem-solving support, resources and assistance to students as they navigate systems and adjust to campus life. Some examples of case management support include:
- Advocacy for students who are experiencing difficulties and challenges
- Communicating with faculty and other campus departments
- Accessing basic needs such as housing and food
- Navigating academic systems (Blackboard and UASOnline)
- Accessing community resources for additional support
- Connecting with academic supports (Learning Center and Writing Center)
- Help completing departmental forms such as petitions
